The hotel, situated in a residential area, is easy to reach by car and is nearby the ring road (A10, junction S116). The hotel offers free parking for its guests. The cosy shopping centre " Boven het IJ" is nearby. The IJ-haven is nearby the hotel and the exciting city centre of Amsterdam is easy to reach by bus (24 hours a day).

By car:
From Ring A10 Zeeburgertunnel/Coentunnel: Leave the motorway at junction S116 Amsterdam-Noord/Volendam (from de Zeeburgertunnel turn left at the traffic lights, from de Coentunnel turn right at the traffic lights). At the next traffic lights take junction Nieuwendam/ Boven IJ Buiksloot. Turn left at the traffic lights. Turn right at the next traffic lights. The hotel is situated 400 meter along this road, on the right.

From the city centre via the IJ-tunnel: Past the IJ-tunnel take junction to fuel station. Turn left at the bottom of the road. Turn right at the traffic lights. The hotel is on the right.

By public transport:
From Schiphol: Take the train to Amsterdam Central Station, then take bus 32 or 36 to Amsterdam/Noord; these buses depart every 15 minutes. Get off the bus at bus stop Waddenweg. The hotel is right ahead.

To the centre of Amsterdam:
Bus 32 and 36 take you to the Central Station; they depart every 10 minutes, from 05.47 a.m. to 00.26 a.m. Night bus 361 departs once every hour.

Erg attent personeel nootjes aan tafel waren lekker bij de wijn

Ik wilde niet online boeken maar telefonisch en bij aankomst betalen. Kreeg daar voor een boete van 24 Euro per nacht!! Dit is puur discriminatie daar per pinpas and contant betalen is wettig en moet niet worden beboet.
Ik ben hier zeer ontstelt hierover en zal het met een aantal instanties opnemen.

Beds were not sturdy. When I sat on the end of the bed, it fell to the floor. After a very long drive to hotel, it was disgraceful to be told that there was no food available to buy from the restaurant until 6pm. I had to sit in my room very hungry from 3pm until 6pm. Not what I expect from a hotel

Goede ontvangst! Keurige en vriendelijk personeel! Wat een verschil met het vorige bezoek. Kunnen deze medewerk(st)ers niet altijd werken?

Soms hangt er een vieze lucht in de benedengang bij de trap.
Het licht in de eetzaal brandde zondag niet.
Begin dit jaar kreeg ik een vaste prijs garantie (kaart). Blijkt in dec. al weer afgeschaft te zijn.
Vreemd dat ik niet meer telefonisch reserveren kan via de balie.

De kamer was schoon maar er was niet goed langs de wanden gezogen. De badkamerdeur was aan beide zijden niet schoon, vies en plakkerig rond en boven het handvat. Niet fijn maar heb mij er verder niet aan gestoord.

Was verder naar wens

Ten tijde van de boeking was het alleen nog mogelijk een De Luxe kamer te boeken. Het was comfortabel maar begrijp nog steeds niet waarom het een 'De Luxe' kamer was, er waren geen extra's. Een kamer die normaal bij de meeste degelijke hotels als goede standaard kamer geboekt kan worden.

Een prima week-end gehad.
