The hotel, situated in a residential area, is easy to reach by car and is nearby the ring road (A10, junction S116). The hotel offers free parking for its guests. The cosy shopping centre " Boven het IJ" is nearby. The IJ-haven is nearby the hotel and the exciting city centre of Amsterdam is easy to reach by bus (24 hours a day).

By car:
From Ring A10 Zeeburgertunnel/Coentunnel: Leave the motorway at junction S116 Amsterdam-Noord/Volendam (from de Zeeburgertunnel turn left at the traffic lights, from de Coentunnel turn right at the traffic lights). At the next traffic lights take junction Nieuwendam/ Boven IJ Buiksloot. Turn left at the traffic lights. Turn right at the next traffic lights. The hotel is situated 400 meter along this road, on the right.

From the city centre via the IJ-tunnel: Past the IJ-tunnel take junction to fuel station. Turn left at the bottom of the road. Turn right at the traffic lights. The hotel is on the right.

By public transport:
From Schiphol: Take the train to Amsterdam Central Station, then take bus 32 or 36 to Amsterdam/Noord; these buses depart every 15 minutes. Get off the bus at bus stop Waddenweg. The hotel is right ahead.

To the centre of Amsterdam:
Bus 32 and 36 take you to the Central Station; they depart every 10 minutes, from 05.47 a.m. to 00.26 a.m. Night bus 361 departs once every hour.

Het zou fijn zijn als er op door de weekse dagen langer ontbeten kan worden.
Het ontbijt is tot 9 uur. Als je voor je plezier uit bent moet je er extra vroeg voor opstaan . Om 9 uur is nog te vroeg om naar Amsterdam te gaan,dar is om kwart over 9 alles nog dicht. , of om naar huis te rijden ,dan sta je in de file. Nu werd er niet moeilijk over gedaan. Toen ik er november was werd om 5 minuten voor 9 gevraagd of je nog iets wilde van het onbijfbuffet. Om 9 uur werd het opgeruimd en de tafels al gedekt voor de lunch terwijl er nog gasten zaten te eten . Niet echt gastvrij en je ontbijt niet echt ontspannen .Ik zet de wekker nadat ik 's nachts om 1 uur terug ben in het hotel om op tijd aan het ontbijt te zitten en kijk tijdens het ontbijt steeds op mijn horloge om in te schatten of ik binnen de tijd blijf.
Verder graag meer licht bij de kledingkast. Je ziet er niets ,ook niet wat er in de kluis ligt. Ik neem er een zaklantaarn voor mee.

1: bij aankomst hadden we graag koffie met iets er bij gewild maar dat was niet mogelijk.
2: zaterdagavond bij terug komst (24.00 uur) wilden wij nog even iets drinken maar helaas de bar gesloten.

de douche; het water spoot eruit langs de aansluiting van de sproeier; nochtans gemeld aan de receptie , de onderhoudsman van dienst gaat het euvel verhelpen tot op zondagmiddag nog niets veranderd ???
de service van het onbijt op zat 14/02/2015 lied de wensen over geen gekookt eitje meer op aanvraag deden ze dat wel maar ,,!!!!!!!!!!!! simpelweg er was geen controle voor het aanvullen van het onbijt jammer op zondag ander personeel dat was het uitstekend op tijd aangevuld enz.
het onbijt kost voor het verblijf toch evenveel op zaterdag als op zondag???? hopelijk doe er iets aan/of doe je iets speciaal voor slechte reclame te vermijden je weet wel !!! die media e!!!!!!!!!!

Slordige afhandeling 'welkomsdrankje' bij afrekening. Het verkeerde drankje besteld....en dus telt de bon niet. Dit gaat bijna altijd fout overigens.
Kamer 77 blijft erg hard zeer koude lucht blazen

douche afvoerputje is verstopt, water loopt heel langzaam weg. Doucheslang is bij douchekop gescheurd.
