The hotel is situated nearby the World Fashion Centre, the RAI and the harbour. From de ring road A10 the hotel can easily be reached by car, via junction S106. The hotel has parking facilities for its guests.

By car:
From Rotterdam/The Hague: On the A10 take exit Zaanstad/Amsterdam, ring West. Follow the road to exit Osdorp S106. At the traffic lights, turn left. Follow thw signs World Fashion Centre. Pass under the A10, you see the hotel in front of you.

From Utrecht/Almere: On the A10 take exit Zaandam/Amsterdam, ring West. Follow road to exit Osdorp S106. At the traffic lights, turn left. Follow the signs World Fashion Centre. Pass under the A10, you see the hotel in front of you.

By public transport:
From Schiphol: Take de slow train to Amsterdam Central Station, get off the bus at bus stop Lelylaan. From Station Lelylaan take tram 1 or 17 to the Central Station and get off the train at Surinameplein, cross the street, walk back. The hotel is situated about 300 metres down the road.

Amsterdam city centre:

My door would not lock. It did not get fixed. I was asked to ignore it as nobody would know. I insisted on having a new room. I was given one but had to move my towels, including wet ones as there would be none. Also I ordered breakfast to go and was charged for a packed lunch even though I said quite clearly I would not be taking breakfast , and this was observed by staff. I had to dispute my bill on departure for the refund.

- personnel was very friendly and helpful
- wifi connection and bandwidth were good
- in the hotel description booklet found in the room, an iron and ironing board are said to be available, when I asked at the reception I was told they aren't there anymore
- the curtain of the shower is too short, when showering most of the bathroom floor gets wet
- a holder for shower gel/shampoo bottles in the shower cubicle would be nice
- the power sockets at the wall near the desk are hidden behind the curtains, they are not in sight
- some towels had old stains, these should be replaced
- on the arrival day, there were breadcrumbs on the desk near the tea pot
- turning off the minibar would save energy and avoid unnecessary noise, let the guest turn it on when needed
