During the Four Days Marches the Nijmegen Summer Festivities take place. This event also attracts thousands of people from all over the Netherlands to Nijmegen. For seven days, various stages in the centre of the city of Waal will be filled with well-known artists, bands and DJs. Besides performances, there are also numerous cultural activities to experience. The Four Days Marches and Summer Festivities end simultaneously on the last day of the walking tour. On that day, walkers who reach the finish line will toast their great achievement together with visitors to the Summer Festivities.
