Best Price Guarantee Terms of the private company Bastion Holding BV, based in Amsterdam, with offices in Utrecht. Bastion Holding BV (Bastion) guarantees the best price for a booking made on one of its own websites (www.bastionhotels.nl; www.bastionhotels.com and www.bestwesternschipholairport.nl), hereinafter referred to as www.bastionhotels.com.
If you can make a booking on any other web site at a lower price than your already existing booking that is made on www.bastionhotels.nl, the Bastion Holding BV reimburses you the first night accommodation for one room only. The conditions as mentioned below should at least be met:
- You must have made a booking on www.bastionhotels.com
- Within a maximum of one hour following the completion of the reservation through www.bastionhotels.com, you should have found a lower rate on another website for the same hotel from the Bastion Holding BV
- You should make a print screen of the lower rate within the same hour
- Arrival and departure dates must be identical
- Payment and cancellation policies must be identical
- The comparison can only be made based on net prices (excluding VAT and local taxes)
- The contents of the reservation must match exactly (eg including breakfast, meals, room type, etc.).
The guarantee does not apply if:
- Reservations are made in combination with or as part of deals (eg Members Only, flash actions and anonymous / secret deals)
- Fixed rates that are part of a corporate agreement with Bastion Hotels; these prices are averaged over the year and are the best prices; occasional exceptions per period / day remain possible
- The price is issued by a third party1that has no contractual and negotiated rates with Bastion Holding BV
If one relies on the Best Price Guarantee, one must provide the following to the department of e-commerce of Bastion Hotels immediately after booking (during office hours and prior to check-in), by sending an e-mail to email@example.com:
- Confirmation of the reservation through www.bastionhotels.com
- Clear and legible print screen of the lower rate found
Outside office hours, you should mail as indicated and Bastion Holding BV will handle your claim as soon as possible. Department of e-commerce will do its best to settle before your departure.
If your claim is not handled before your arrival, the current reservation will be held and handling will take place after your stay.
Please note: Employees in the hotels of Bastion Holding BV are not entitled to handle and react on your claim both written and verbally.
