Always book directly at Bastion Hotels for the lowest price
Lowest Price Guarantee Terms of the private company Bastion Holding BV, based in Amsterdam, with offices in Utrecht. Bastion Holding BV (Bastion) guarantees the lowest price for a booking made on one of its own websites (www.bastionhotels.nl; www.bastionhotels.com and www.bestwesternschipholairport.nl), hereinafter referred to as www.bastionhotels.com.
If you can make a booking on any other website at a lower price than available on www.bastionhotels.com, the Bastion Holding BV reimburses you the first night accommodation for one room. The conditions as mentioned below should at least be met:
- You must have made a booking on the website for the lower price than the price available on www.bastionhotels.com
- Within a maximum of half an hour following the completion of the reservation through the website for the lower price, the higher price must be shown on www.bastionhotels.com for the same hotel. Therefore:
- You should make a print screen of the higher rate via www.bastionhotels.com within half an hour
- Arrival and departure dates must be identical
- Payment and cancellation policies must be identical
- The comparison can only be made based on net prices (excluding VAT and local taxes)
- The contents of the reservation must match exactly (eg including breakfast, meals, room type, etc.).
The guarantee does not apply if:
- Reservations are made in combination with or as part of deals (eg Members Only, flash actions and anonymous / secret deals)
- Fixed rates that are part of a corporate agreement with Bastion Hotels; these prices are averaged over the year and are the best prices; occasional exceptions per period / day remain possible
If one relies on the Lowest Price Guarantee, one must provide the following to the department of Revenue of Bastion Hotels immediately after booking (during office hours, Monday till Friday, 8:00 till 18:00, and prior to check-in), by sending an e-mail to email@example.com:
- Booking confirmation of the reservation trough the website that offers Bastion Hotels’ rooms for a lower price than www.bastionhotels.com
- Clear and legible print screen of the price on www.bastionhotels.com for the same dates, policies, as mentioned.
Outside office hours, you should mail as indicated and Bastion Holding BV will handle your claim as soon as possible. Department of Revenue and Distribution will do its best to settle before your departure.
If your claim is not handled before your arrival, the current reservation will be held and handling will take place after your stay.
Please note: Employees in the hotels of Bastion Holding BV are not entitled to handle and react on your claim both written and verbally.
