Bastion Hotels House Rules
Welcome to Bastion Hotels! We want everyone to have a pleasant, peaceful, and safe stay. That is why we have listed a few agreements.
Good to know: these are just a few specific rules, not a complete list. Our main focus is on the philosophy behind them: respect for each other, for our team, and for the hotel. We will also address behavior that is not explicitly listed here but causes a nuisance or creates an unsafe situation.
By staying at the hotel, you agree to these house rules. In case of doubt, the management will decide, within the limits of the law.
1. Safety and emergencies
- Do you see a fire? Stay calm and report it immediately to the reception, or use the nearest manual fire alarm.
- Is the fire alarm going off? Then leave the building immediately and never take the elevator.
- In the event of emergencies or incidents, always follow the instructions of our staff.
2. Check-in and identification
- Bring a valid form of identification; this is required for check-in.
- You can check in from the age of 18.
- Bring the credit card you used to book. The name on the card must match that of the booker or guest checking in.
- Is that incorrect? Then you can pay in another way.
- Upon check-in, we require a deposit of €150 (debit or credit card guarantee). If you leave the room or suite tidy, you will receive this back.
3. Security and privacy
- For everyone's safety, cameras are installed in various locations. By staying here, you agree to the recordings.
- In the event of emergencies or incidents, we may share images with third parties, such as the police, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Liability
- The hotel is not responsible for the loss or theft of your belongings.
- The management, owner, and employees are not liable for personal injury or material or immaterial damage, unless caused by intent or gross negligence.
5. Interaction with each other and with our staff
- Follow the instructions of our staff.
- Treat our team and other guests with respect and courtesy.
- We do not tolerate rude behavior, aggression, or threats. This may lead to immediate removal from the hotel, and if necessary, we will call the police.
- In the event of a threatening or unsafe situation, our staff may refuse a guest entry or deny them access to the hotel.
- In the event of nuisance, danger, or inappropriate behavior, staff or security may enter your room if necessary and reasonable.
6. What is not allowed
For a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask you not to do the following:
- Using the emergency exit without a valid reason (such as fire).
- Taking or damaging hotel belongings.
- Using, possessing, or trading soft drugs, hard drugs, or nitrous oxide.
