Just south of Eindhoven, in the wooded landscape of Eersel, lies the E3 Strand. This recreational lake is beloved for its pristine white sand, clear water, and dynamic festival program. The beach stretches from the edge of the forest all the way to the water's edge. Stroll around the lake, take a dip in the water, or float on the water. Fans of pedal boats, beach volleyball, and kite flying will have a field day here.

Don't feel like getting sand between your toes? There are also several meadows where you can relax. Especially on warmer days, the beach is packed with people enjoying the weather.

Events & festivals

E3 Strand excels as an event venue. In summer, the beach fills with festivals like Dominator, Elrow Town, and beach editions of dance festivals. During festival days, the forest transforms into a beach full of beats and fun, with a vibrant lineup featuring house, hardstyle, and techno. The venue also offers space for corporate events, cultural events, and theater performances in nature.

The E3 Strand is located directly off the A67 motorway (exit E3 Strand/Eersel) and there are large festival parking lots. On busy days, you can also park towards P4 and P5. Parking is often around €10-20 per day.

There are also Kiss & Ride zones and during events there are often shuttle buses from Eindhoven Central Station.
