Walking in the Kralingse Bos

Kralingse Bos is a beautiful piece of nature in this busy city. Besides the fact that you can enjoy walking, swimming and cycling here, you can also go out with the forester to discover flora and fauna. A hidden gem in the Kralingse Bos is the unique Heemtuin with a piece of marsh. Here you can really relax. From the Kralingse bos you also have a beautiful view of the city skyline!

A Culinary and Architectural Experience: The Markthal

One of the most popular activities in Rotterdam: a visit to the Markthal! The Markthal is known for its special appearance and is part of the largest work of art in the Netherlands. Artist Arno Coenen has given the entire interior of the Markthal a colorful design. In the Markthal you will find stalls, shops and restaurants. From fresh products such as vegetables, fruit, meat and fish to exotic spices and local delicacies. Taste one of the delicacies! There is something for everyone.

Into the air!

One of the most recognizable symbols of Rotterdam is the Euromast. With a height of 185 meters, the Euromast cannot be missed. It is the highest vantage point in the Netherlands that is open to the public. Visitors can take an elevator to the top of the tower, where they are rewarded with a stunning panoramic view that extend far beyond the city limits. Do you dare to go up?
