The best activities during fall!

Autumn has arrived again and that means beautiful colored leaves, cozy sweaters, hot drinks and sitting in front of the fireplace. While one person can't wait to put on nice warm sweaters again, the other prefers to lie on the beach at 30 degrees. Don't worry! There are plenty of fun activities you can do during fall. We have listed a number of activities for you.

Have a game night

Don't feel like being out in the cold and just want to stay home for an evening? Organize a gamenight with friends or family. Bake a delicious apple pie and prepare the tea. Light the fireplace and immerse yourself in the warm autumnal atmosphere. From classic board games to card games... Whatever game you play, a fun evening is guaranteed. So get out those games, make an extra cup of tea and prepare for a fun-filled evening!

Get some fresh air in the colored forest

Rain or no rain, a walk in the woods is a must do during autumn. The trees shed their leaves in beautiful autumn colors and the fresh air allows you to completely relax. For example, visit the Utrechtse Heuvelrug; the perfect nature reserve for a walk during fall. There are many viewpoints and it is centrally located in the Netherlands. No rain? Have a picnic in the forest! Bring a thermos and the tastiest autumn snacks and enjoy nature.

Dress up crazy!

Did you know that there are several parties in October where you can dance and dress up? Enjoy Oktoberfest, the 11th of the 11th or Halloween!

Oktoberfest may be officially over in Germany, but here in the Netherlands it is still being celebrated! Go to the Foute Oktoberfest in Nijmegen or the Oktoberfestival in Breda on October 7. Put on your lederhosen, drink a nice beer and enjoy the best party artists!

Halloween is also just around the corner at the end of October. Put on your creepiest outfit, go to a fun party in the neighborhood or organize one yourself. Do you prefer a festival? Get tickets for Smerrig Halloween Festival in Den Bosch on October 28!

The 11th of the 11th will take place on, yes… November 11, 2023 of course! The start of the carnival season. Where will you be? Are you going to Oeteldonk in red, yellow and white? Go out for a day

With all that rain you sometimes prefer to be indoors, but sitting at home alone during autumn is just so boring. A visit to a museum is the perfect solution. For example, visit the Naturalis Biodiversity Center. A beautiful natural history museum for young and old! It shows a glimpse into biodiversity on earth; the evolution of animals, plants and all life. Is there a day when the sun shines? Then visit a nice amusement park or zoo such as the Efteling or Dierenpark Amersfoort.
