Amsterdam Light Festival

It's getting colder outside and the days are getting shorter… but in Amsterdam it will stay light for a long time! The Amsterdam Light Festival takes you on a journey with the theme 'Imagine Beyond'. Enter the world of the imagination. Admire the works of art on, along and in the canals on foot or from the water. Do you prefer walking? Then the walking route is about 6.5 km. A digital map shows you along the works of art.

Magic Maastricht

WinterWelVaart

Every year in December, dozens of historic and illuminated ships moor in the beautiful city center of Groningen. The port of Groningen is already a picture to see in the winter, but even more beautiful during the WinterWelVaart. Enjoy music, art and theater on the water and then browse the Christmas market at all kinds of stalls that are set up along the quays. In and around the ships there is plenty to see and do for young and old.

GLOW Eindhoven

“And then I think of Brabant, because the lights are still burning there” And the lights are literally burning there during the GLOW festival in Eindhoven, which can be visited free of charge. From 12 to 19 November, the city center of Eindhoven will be transformed into a large light art festival with projects by around 35 light artists from the Netherlands and abroad. The light art projects are projected on all buildings, roofs and streets and are connected by a walking route. The walking route is about five kilometers long and starts at Eindhoven Central Station.

Het Nederlands Ijsbeelden Festival

Enter a magical world and admire ice and snow sculptures up to 6 meters high! The best ice artists come to Zwolle for the Ice Images festival to get started with no less than 275,000 kilos of ice and 275,000 kilos of snow. Put on your thickest sweater and coat, admire the ice sculptures, discover the theme “WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD” and then enjoy a hot chocolate with whipped cream.
